Facilities at Didsbury Court
Bedrooms are elegant and spacious with 'en suite' facilities. The decor is fully co- ordinated to achieve an exceptional level of warmth and quality. All residents are encouraged to bring their own possessions to make their room more personal - even 'well behaved pets' are welcome.
All our nutritious food is freshly prepared by our qualified chef and we constantly seek comments and suggestions from our residents in drawing up the menus and they are frequently amended to reflect the preferences. An alternative is always available if a particular item is not to the liking and vegetarian and special diets are also catered for.
The aim of the proprietors along with their caring staff, is to provide a comfortable, homely atmosphere in pleasant relaxed surroundings, with visitors welcome at all times.
Funding by either Private/Social Services or other means welcome - please do not hesitate to enquire for current rates.
Whenever possible residents are encouraged to follow interests outside the Home, although activities such as Wii system (keep fit and games etc), theme days, various handicrafts, cooking, bingo, quiz sessions, board & card games, jigsaws, singalongs, electronic digital keyboard, shopping expeditions and outings to theatres and places of interest are all part of creating a happy atmosphere. 'Home from Home' means just that at Didsbury.
Barbecues are a favourite with all and are frequent in warmer days on our versatile patio with various garden furniture and summer house to cater for all needs. We also have our own garden of tranquility complete with wishing well.
